OUR RANGE OF ADOPTION CARDS – ONLY £1.99 + POSTAGE
Cards for recently approved adopters
Approval is a big step in what can be a long process for prospective adopters. For some this could mark two years in to the process of adopting a child. It’s a special occasion that is worth marking and celebrating.
Cards for recent child / children placement
The day that an adoptive family take home their child or children is the ultimate goal and is both a happy and quite scary time! We have cards for single parent adopters as well as couples adopting.
Cards for adoption naming days
Naming day comes when the final legal paperwork has been completed and the child or children can take their adoptive parent’s surname. This is cause for big celebration and often a party is thrown.
Cards for international adoption
There are many ways to adopt, either from the UK or internationally. As such, we’ve tried to cover as many bases as possible and offer global adoption cards as well. Our range will continue to grow over time.

ABOUT US – WE’RE ADOPTERS TOO!
What is the adoption card shop?
Adoption is becoming more and more prevalent in the UK with hundreds of children in the system waiting to be adopted each year. Even on a recent visit to the cinema with our own adopted children, there was an advert for adoption mixed in amongst the standard fare of Haribo and Nintendo adverts.
When we adopted, we were part of an adoption circle of seven couples (our antenatal group of sorts) and when it came to congratulating each other on adoption approval, placement and naming days, there was really no greeting cards to suit what is such a unique occasion, which for adoptive parents is often more emotionally charged than having a birth child.
As a result, we decided it was time to create our own range of cards to help adoptive families, grandparents, siblings and friends celebrate such special occasions with their loved ones.
It’s early days for our little website so currently our range comprises of just a dozen cards, but we plan to continue to design and grow the range as time goes on, so please do check back again from time-to-time.
Who we are
We are adopters who ourselves went through a three year process to adopt our two children. We understand adoption, the joys and highs, but also the stresses and strains.
Rather than supplying more generic cards, we’ve created a range of cards with special meaning and messages that we would have welcomed and we hope your friends and family will as well.
Further help, reading & gifts
As adoptive parents ourselves, we found a range of information helpful which we want to share. This isn’t just for perspective adopters or new adopters, but there’s also great resources for grand parents, friends and siblings who will be welcoming an adopted child or children in to their wider family circle.
